Happy November! We have a few important updates and a fun event to share:

No School – Tuesday, November 11
In honor of Veterans Day, there will be no school next Tuesday. We encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect and thank those who have served.

🍁 Fall Family PTA Movie Night – Friday, November 14
Join us for a cozy evening in the LP cafeteria from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM! The PTA is hosting a FREE movie night for all families—a perfect way to celebrate the season together. Feel free to bring comfy blankets and chairs to enhance your experience. Refreshments will be available for purchase!

We look forward to seeing you there!  Thank you for helping make LP such a warm and welcoming place for our students and families!

Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing grade-level reading passages to help families support reading at home. These passages are designed to reflect the reading expectations for each grade, giving you a clear picture of what your child is working on in school. Whether it’s building fluency, understanding vocabulary, or diving into deeper comprehension, these short texts are a great way to practice together and celebrate your child’s growth as a reader!
