Dear LP Families,
On behalf of the entire LP staff, we want to thank our PTA and all contributing families for hosting a teacher/staff appreciation luncheon today. We appreciate the support and acknowledgement more than you know! We are also looking forward to some fun appreciation activities next week. Please keep scrolling to read a note from our PTA about those plans.
To all 5th grade families- this is a reminder that EIMS is hosting a 5 go 6 parent information night on May 6th at 6:30pm. You and your child are encouraged to attend to learn all about next year! I'm not sure I'm going to let them go yet...but we should be prepared! Kidding ;)
Next week, we complete our required state testing for math. Students will take their test on May 8th and 9th. Please make sure your child comes to school well rested, on time, and with a charged device. Thank you!

Dear Parents,
As you know, our teachers and support staff spend a good chunk of the day with our kids; helping, molding, educating and supporting them! This year, we thought it would be fun for the students to honor their teachers for two days of the week. On Monday, May 6th, you can have your child bring in their teacher’s favorite treat. On Wednesday, May 8th, you can have your child wear their teacher’s favorite color.
You will find each teacher and support staff’s favorite color and treats below! And by all means, you can celebrate more than one staff member in the school with treats and or colors.
Additionally, your child will be brining home a little piece of paper that they can write a generic note of appreciation to the teachers and staff at LP. Please return these to the office by Wednesday, May 8th!

An ability to affect a positive experience with the students they interact with
