Dear LP Families,
As a mom and an educator, I have always found the month of May to be one of the busiest months of the year. There are sports practices, recitals, end-of-year assessments, concerts, field trips, starting the final curriculum units of the year, and...increased behaviors. In schools, we often call this 'spring fever'. The weather is warmer and our students are starting to look forward to those long summer days. We need your help! Please remind your student that there are still several weeks of school left and it is important to stay focused on their learning and show safe behaviors in school. There are always adults in the building that can help with any friendship issues or conflict. We appreciate the support!
Speaking of summer, we are counting down the last 26 days of school with an ABC Countdown! Please check out the calendar below to see how we will celebrate each day as a school community.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend,
Dr. Bello
