Dear LP Families,
This will be the last newsletter of the school year! Bittersweet times for sure. To all of our 5th grade families, thank you for giving us the honor of being a part of your child's educational journey. Always remember we are never far if you need us! The photo above was taken during the 5th grade visit to EIMS- the class of 2032 will move mountains!
I know you all have received communication about next week and our projected high temps. For extra good measure, I am attaching the plan here for your reference:
Laurelton-Pardee Students:
Monday, June 23: Students will spend the day at Seabreeze as planned. Those not staying with a parent/guardian will return to school and take their usual bus home.
Tuesday, June 24: Half-day schedule with dismissal at 11:35 AM.
To help keep students cool while in school, Pre-K through 5th grade classes will rotate through air-conditioned areas, and fans will be placed throughout the buildings. A grab-and-go lunch will be provided to all students before dismissal.
On the last day of school, June 25, all elementary students will have a regular full day.
Please remember, we will be collecting devices next week so I am asking that on Monday, June 23rd devices stay in the classroom. This way we don't have to worry about students who may have forgotten their device at home. Students will receive a new device on the first day of school in the fall.
Seabreeze reminders: If you are chaperoning, please meet us at the water park entrance around 9:30am. We will connect you with your group, hand out tickets, and then you will be on your way. For students returning to school, they need to be back to us by 1:30pm. We will meet by the water park entrance/exit. Students staying at the park do not need to check in with us at 1:30- you can enjoy your own timeline!
I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable summer!
Dr. Bello
