Dear LP Families,
This is a reminder that next week is our district Safety Week. Every day, we will conduct either a lock down or fire drill to complete our remaining required safety drills for the year. Students will be prepared in advance each day; they will know the drill being completed and expectations for completing the drill safely.
Please also note, we are beginning to start planning for the 2024-2025 school year. If you would like to provide me with some input on your child's placement next year, please do so by email no later than Friday, May 17th.

I am asking that you do not request specific teachers by name, rather a general description of the type of learning environment you feel your child thrives in. Thank you in advance for providing me with information to help our team make the best possible placement for your child.

To be eligible for the award the nominee must have been with the district for at least 5 years and consistently demonstrate the following:
A personal commitment to his/her profession beyond the workday
Going above and beyond for students, families, and the district
Working collaboratively with peers and constantly seeking improvement for themselves and those around them
Consistent professionalism in their work
An ability to affect a positive experience with the students they interact with
