Dear LP Families,

As the leaves begin to change and the air turns crisp, we find ourselves entering one of the most exciting times of the school year—Homecoming and Spirit Week! This season is all about celebrating school pride, building community, and creating joyful memories for our students.

We’re thrilled to invite you to join us in the festivities as we kick off Spirit Week starting Monday, 9/29! Each day will feature a fun theme that encourages students to express themselves and show off their school spirit. Be sure to check out the flyer below for the full schedule of themed days.

The week will culminate in our Homecoming Celebration, which includes a parade, carnival, and Homecoming football game on Saturday, 10/4. We encourage families to join us for the parade as we walk together as a school community. We will meet at 10:00am at the transportation center and walk together as a group to the high school.

These traditions are more than just fun—they’re a chance for students to feel connected, confident, and proud of their school. Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Let’s make this Homecoming season one to remember!

Celebrate your Lancer pride with us during Homecoming! Looking for some apparel to wear? Support the Class of ‘26 and buy a senior designed shirt! Shirts will be delivered to the main offices of each school building for distribution in homeroom during Homecoming week.

Does your family want to walk with your school in the parade? You’re invited! Families should report to the bus parking lot on 125 Kane Drive at 10:00 am to participate. Let's get a huge showing of support for LP!

Learn how to save time when you visit our school!

Visitor Check-in!

We’re excited to share an update on our new mobile kiosks for visitor check-in across the district. These kiosks are designed to make the process faster and more secure for everyone entering our buildings.

To make check-in even easier, we encourage parents, guardians, and other visitors to download the Raptor Safe app on their mobile devices. This app allows users to:

· Scan their ID

· Take a selfie photo

· Generate a QR code for future visits

Once set up, visitors can simply open the app, swipe up to find their QR code, and scan it at the mobile kiosk. This will automatically print a badge using the photo on your license. If you plan to visit more than once this school year, we highly recommend downloading the app—it takes only a few minutes to set up and eliminates the need to scan your license and take a photo each time.

We’ve also implemented safety alerts. If someone flagged as not allowed entry attempts to check in, our main office staff and district safety personnel will be notified. In rare cases, false positives may occur. If this happens, staff may ask to scan your license at the front desk for further verification.
