We will be accepting written parent input over the next month, as we are preparing to build our classrooms for the 2024-2025 school year. We love hearing input from parents and guardians in terms of the best kind of classroom environment for your children.
We do NOT accept teacher recommendations. Please do not suggest or ask for a specific teacher.
Our goal is to build well-balanced classrooms. At this level, our classrooms have a range of learners, an even split of boys and girls, and we always aim to make sure each student transitions with at least one classmate from his/her previous class.
You can send me an email (lhiley@eastiron.org) by May 15 with your thoughts. We consider all of your input and apply as much as we feasibly can. We do take seriously suggestions for separation, so if you feel like it is time for your child to have a break from a specific classmate, you are welcome to share that with me.
Please be sure to share your thoughts in writing by May 15.

We captured some special moments from the week. The first row is Ms. Frey's class cleaning up our courtyard garden beds. Then there are several pictures of our UPK students in physical education class and one picture of Mr. Delly's class at the zoo from last week. Then, you will see some UPK students hitting off the tee, a first grader reading to kindergartners, some love for Mrs. Izzo for Nurse's week. Finally, Ms. Frey shared the magnificent clouds outside her window.
Check out what has been happening in art room with Mrs. Phillips!
