Dear IG Families:

Welcome to our very last weekly newsletter of the school year. Today, you received your child's report card. We sent them home today, since Monday is Fun Day! We hope you and your child can reflect on the remarkable growth they have achieved this year. We also encourage regular reading and game-playing in the summer months to keep skills on track. Trips to the library are a great way to keep cool, too.

Please know that I am here in the office all summer. Mrs. Collins' hopes to be back around August 1. In her absence, I will be checking the main office voicemail.

We wish you a safe, fun summer and are already looking forward the start of school on September 4. Also, mark your calendars for our Popsicles with the Principal event on September 3 from 2:00-3:00.

Medication pickup this year will be on June 25th and June 26th due to the last day of school being a Monday and Fun Day! I will send out reminders the week prior. If medication isn’t picked up by end of day on June 26th, it will be disposed of per New York State Safe Medication Disposal in Schools procedures. June is also a great month to contact providers for new medication orders, as they are good for 1 year and you will avoid the August/September rush, where paperwork tends to get lost

This week we are sharing some of our pictures from Flag Day. It's fun to see the students dressed so patriotically. Our kindergarten classrooms visited first grade classrooms for a first-hand preview of next year. The Netsin's truck came on Monday and offered everyone a cool, sweet treat.
