Dear Ivan Green Families:

First, I would like to acknowledge all the grown-ups who remain flexible in these weeks where we have days off of school. This was a tough one for working parents with two days, one unexpected. Thank you for your flexibility. As a reminder, we are closed next Wednesday for the Lunar New Year.

Our kindergarten concert has been rescheduled to January 30 - see the information below.

Tonight is our PTA family movie night! If you have not RSVPed they can still attend, but pizza is only available to those who pre-purchased. Concessions will be available to purchase with cash or card without a reservation. Chairs and blankets are welcome, too.

We are looking forward to a good time! Go Bills!

News From Ivan Green

Ivan Green Book Swap

In March, we will be doing a book swap for the whole school. We are looking for gently used children’s books for the students at Ivan Green. These could include picture books, board books, early readers, and early chapter books. Please have your student bring in your donations or please drop them off at school. Thank you!!!

From the Health Office

Our school nurse at Helendale has shared that they are in the midst of an influx of the stomach bug. We would like to avoid that at Ivan Green. The visuals below can help us minimize the spread of Norovirus. Give Mrs. Izzo a call if you have any questions.

Lunch with Lancers Returns!

Back by popular demand, our first Lunch with Lancers returns for the first week of February (February 3-7). We invite all IG's loved ones to come in and have lunch with their littlest Lancers. You do not have to RSVP or sign up. Just show up during your Lancer's scheduled lunch time. Call our main office with any questions.

Lego Night at Ivan Green - January 31

Ivan Green and Durand Eastman families are invited to Lego Family Night

January 31, 2025, 6-8pm, Ivan Green School Cafeteria

Bring the whole family for an evening of fun and creativity with teacher-led LEGO activities. Build with LEGO sets and take home your very own personal set!

Duplo sets will be available for younger kids to play with. Don't miss out on this exciting event!

A Peek at Our Week

We met our goal of reading 4,000 books as a school. Lance made an appearance with Mrs. Dunn on the morning show to celebrate. The other pictures are some candidates of fun (and learning) around the school from this week.
